The 2026 Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) boys basketball season wraps on Saturday, March 14 in East Lansing, where all four division state champions will be crowned in the state finals at Breslin Center.

East Lansing senior and Mr. Basketball winner KJ Torbert hit a winning 3 with 1.5 seconds left in win over Brother Rice in the MHSAA D-1 semifinal.

Laurel won the MHSAA 5A title behind star Kayllis Walker and motivation from coach Sherri Cooley who is battling cancer.
