How to watch Japanese figure skaters including Yuma Kagiyama, Shuna Sato, Kaori Sakamoto and pairs team Riku Miura/Ryuichi Kihara at the 2026 Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympics are officially underway, and if you’re trying to catch as much of the games as you can over the next two weeks, there’s only one streaming subscription you need. Of course, we’re talking about the official streaming home of the Olympic Games: Peacock.
Most of the pairs in the competition struggled with mistakes—until Japan’s Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara took to the ice and drew the only standing ovation of the evening.
Japan’s Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara, the defending world champions, are the gold-medal favorites. They topped the standings in both the pairs short and free skate portions of the team event. Kam and O’Shea finished in fifth and fourth, respectively, and earned a personal-best score in the free skate.
Ilia Malinin will take the ice again in Milan, skating the exhibition gala Saturday, Feb. 21. The gala features top medalists from the Winter Games.
Malinin was seen taking in the action with Mexican figure skater Donovan Carrillo and Piper Gilles, the Canadian bronze medallist in ice dance.
