Building a strong understanding of tumbling shapes is super important when it comes to muscle memory and muscle activation. This drill is targeting a two shapes, Candlestick and Hollow. These are some of the most common shapes in an athletes tumbling and can help with skills from round offs all the way to twisting. Have the athlete start in a tight upright hollow position standing on their toes and reaching up with arms ensuring shoulders and core are engaged. Once the athlete starts to fall mak
