Aurochs were massive wild cattle and the direct ancestors of modern cows. Once roaming freely across the vast grasslands of Eurasia, they were known for their enormous size, long curved horns, and fearless nature. Even apex predators hesitated to challenge them. Sadly, intensive human hunting and habitat loss led to the extinction of this powerful species.
